Our process begins with a detailed fact finding interview, in order to determine the goals and objectives of the owners, including a current census of employees. Then, together with a TPA, a plan will be analyzed to match the firm’s needs, and an appropriate investment platform identified.

Often, a firm will already have a plan, but the owners are dissatisfied for any of a number of reasons. We can assist in amending the plan to bring it in line with the firm’s objectives, or possibly change the firm’s investment platform.

Finally, some firms will decide that a “tax qualified” retirement plan is too restrictive or in some way inappropriate. We can often devise a “non-qualified,” or “Top Hat program,” which will benefit a select group of employees.
